You claimed your authorized ReelShort invitation code and you're posting clips. Now the question that actually pays your bills: *what's working?* The ReelShort affiliate dashboard is where every click, install, and commission lives. This walkthrough shows you exactly what each section means, how to read it like a pro, and how to turn those numbers into more money. (For the initial account setup screens, see Registration and account filing.)

How to open the dashboard

  • Desktop: log in at the affiliate portal (bookmark it).
  • Mobile: open the same URL in your phone browser, tap "Add to Home Screen" — it behaves like an app. Our mobile-only guide covers this.

Once in, you'll see the core panels below.

Panel 1 — Overview (your at-a-glance scoreboard)

The top cards show:

  • Clicks — total taps on your tracked links.
  • Installs / Sign-ups — people who actually downloaded ReelShort and registered via your code.
  • Conversion rate (CVR) — installs ÷ clicks. A healthy ReelShort CVR runs 2–8%; below that, your traffic or landing isn't matched.
  • Pending commission — earned but not yet paid (inside the lock window).
  • Paid commission — what's hit your account.

If CVR is low but clicks are high, your audience isn't the short-drama type — revisit niche strategy and hook formulas.

This is your toolkit:

  • Your unique link — the one you put in bios and bridge pages. Copy it, never hand-type it.
  • Sub-links per platform — some dashboards let you spawn platform-specific links. Use them so you know TikTok vs YouTube performance at a glance. Combined with UTM tags, you get bulletproof attribution.
  • Creative library — trailers and posters under Resources → Featured. Save the ones that fit your niche; our official creatives guide is this same panel, expanded.

Pro tip: rotate creatives every 2 weeks. A trailer that converts at 6% will fatigue; fresh visuals reset the curve.

Panel 3 — Sub-affiliates (your 2-tier engine)

Under Team you'll see everyone who joined through your code, their clicks, and *your* override. This is the sub-affiliate system in action — recurring commission on their earnings. The dashboard shows:

  • Direct referrals vs. indirect (2nd tier).
  • Each sub's 30-day performance.
  • Your team override total.

Coach your bottom performers with our 30-day starter plan and your team compounds.

Panel 4 — Payouts & tax

  • Withdrawal history — every paid-out commission with date and method.
  • Threshold — ReelShort pays once you clear the minimum (see payment, payouts & taxes for exact numbers and tax forms).
  • Payment method — PayPal, bank transfer, etc. Set it early so money isn't stuck.

Match these figures against your own spreadsheet monthly — discrepancies are rare but worth catching.

How to read the dashboard like a pro

Don't just glance — diagnose:

  1. High clicks, low installs → traffic mismatch or weak landing. Fix the bridge page or narrow the niche.
  2. Low clicks, high CVR → you're pre-qualifying well but need volume. Post more, or expand to a new platform.
  3. One platform dominates → double down there, but keep the others warm (the channel matrix shows the balance).
  4. Team override flat → recruit. Our sub-affiliate system explains the pitch.

For campaign-level optimization beyond the native dashboard, our analytics & optimization guide layers UTM + funnel math on top.

Weekly 10-minute dashboard ritual

  • Monday: screenshot Overview, note CVR vs last week.
  • Wednesday: check which creative is tiring; swap one.
  • Friday: message your 2 lowest sub-affiliates with a tip.
  • Monthly: reconcile payouts, then reinvest time into the top platform.

Do this and you'll spot trends before they cost you money. The scale-to-$10K playbook scales this ritual across a content team.

Troubleshooting

  • Stats look frozen — allow 24–48h for install attribution; clicks are near-real-time, installs lag.
  • Commission shows "pending" forever — that's the standard lock window; it clears on schedule.
  • A link isn't tracking — re-copy from Panel 2; never edit the URL parameters.
  • Can't withdraw — confirm payment method + threshold in Panel 4; details in payment guide.
